The name of the official monthly magazine of the LDS church. The May and November issues contain the transcripts of all speeches given at the latest general conference. These issues are called conference editions and are considered scripture.
“If you want to know what the Lord would have the Saints know and to have his guidance and direction for the next six months, get a copy of the proceedings of this conference, and you will have the latest word of the Lord as far as the Saints are concerned” (President Harold B. Lee, quoted in D&C Student Manual, p. 42).
Note: Prior to January 2021, Liahona was known as Ensign.
