This word refers exclusively as a reference to the Lord’s Supper. Mormons partake of the sacrament, consisting of bread and water, every Sunday as a means to remember Jesus’ Atonement. In doing so, they reaffirm the covenant promises they made to Heavenly Father to remain faithful and obedient to the LDS gospel.

“When you partake of the sacrament, ..You witness that you are willing to take upon yourself the name of Jesus Christ and that you will keep His commandments. In partaking of the sacrament and making this commitment, you renew your baptismal covenant.”  (Truth to the Faith, p. 148)
