In Mormonism, prayers are always addressed to Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ and end with “amen.” Members are encouraged to pray often, privately, and as families, seeking strength to obey commandments and receive revelation through the Holy Ghost. Prayers are never directed to Jesus or the Holy Ghost.
Mormons usually do not fold their hands or place their arms behind their back while they pray. Rather, they pray with their arms crossed in front of them.
