Liahona

Liahona is the monthly magazine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for adult members. It provides messages from church leaders, instructional articles, and stories meant to build faith. In 2021, it replaced the Ensign (which had been the English-language magazine for adults since 1971), uniting all international editions under the single name Liahona. The name comes from a compass-like instrument described in the Book of Mormon that guided Lehi’s family in the wilderness. The magazine remains one of the primary ways church leadership communicates teachings and guidance to members worldwide.
