If my faith depended on me, I would worry. I would doubt that my faith would be enough in my Father’s eyes. Trusting in myself would be like building a house on shifting sand or being knocked about by waves during a storm.
When I put my faith in Christ alone, his perfection becomes mine personally. I don’t have to enter my days with uncertainty because his words of forgiveness are unchanging. He is my anchor in a storm. I trust that through Jesus alone, I have a secure future with him.
