Ex-Mormon Stories: Jake Miller

Jake was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, baptized at age 8, read the Book of Mormon, and had a “testimony” of the church around age 14. He was zealous for his faith but was struggling inside.

Jake shares how the power of God’s Word brought him out of the darkness and showed him the real meaning of grace.

How can we talk to our LDS friends about the seriousness of the law? What are some tips for encouraging them to read the Bible with us? What question does Jake ask when he starts a witnessing conversation? Finally, what did Christian freedom mean for Jake when he first left Mormonism? What does it look like now?

“Christ is glorified in weakness. I am weak. I am undeserving of grace and yet Christ is faithful. He is gracious and he is merciful and forgiving.”

Jake Miller

Our Equip Webinars are held on the second Tuesday from 6 – 7:30 PM, Mountain Time.
