It’s easy to become discouraged when it appears you are not having any effect. Remember that your responsibility is to witness. It’s the Holy Spirit who brings people to faith.

“No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit”

1 Corinthians 12:3

Also, remember that God says his Word always accomplishes something (Isaiah 55:10–11). Focus on these biblical truths and not on their seeming lack of interest. Remember that every time you share God’s Word, you have succeeded in bringing them into contact with the power of God.

When you need a boost, turn to your Bible for encouraging reminders of God’s faithfulness (the Bible passages listed in your workbook are another helpful resource).

Finally, be sure to share with your prayer support team what you are experiencing.  Lean on them for encouragement.
