Now, onto lesson 6.
Let’s take a look at some common Mormon stress points, and how becoming aware of these areas of pain can help you become a better witness.
As we continue to build on Pillar 3: Focus on Mormon Stress Points, it is important to realize that this pillar is in the middle of the bridge—in the deepest water.
Focusing on their stress points can be very difficult, but it is also so important.
As we looked at many of their stresses, we saw that that little word if can cast a rather heavy burden on the individual.
IF you are worthy.
IF you’ve done enough.
IF you’ve followed Jesus’ example perfectly.
IF you have repented enough to earn forgiveness.
IF you will live with Heavenly Father for all eternity.
We can turn those stress points into rest points in Christ—those ifs into certainties. As you share Jesus with your Mormon friends, continue to point them to his promises. Keeping a list of these promises in your Bible is a great way to find encouragement for yourself and others.
