Step 3 - Helping YOU to actually witness—

rather than just talk about it!

Based on Pastor Mark Cares’ time-tested approach for witnessing to Mormons, we provide a number of training opportunities to help you on your witnessing journey. You’ll find a growing number of those programs below.

Since the Truth in Love approach to witnessing is both biblical and relational—it is often a BREAKTHROUGH for people who wish they could be a better witness.

We consistently find that when Christians train with Truth in Love Ministry, they inevitably find greater courage and confidence in sharing their faith with Mormons and with ANYONE.

Witnessing to Mormon Missionaries

Almost everybody we have trained has had a great experience witnessing to Mormon missionaries. The key is taking the time to be kind to them, to listen to them, and to build a relationship with them. This can easily be done in a couple of visits. Once you've taken the time to build a relationship, the missionaries are much more inclined to listen because they realize you are concerned for them. Those who have used our approach have averaged six to eight visits with the missionaries. A good number have had many more visits with them.

Our approach is spelled out in detail on Please Open the Door. We encourage you to subscribe and browse the many helpful articles. Don't wait for missionaries to knock on your door; you can take the initiative and request to have missionaries visit with you. You'll find step-by-step instructions on the Please Open The Door website, as well.

Build Bridges Not Barriers Course

HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO debate Mormonism?

Over 35 years of practice and countless conversations, we've found that debating Mormonism with a Mormon isn't very productive.

It actually burns a lot of bridges.

We have developed a distinctive, biblical approach to address the unique challenges – and opportunities – of witnessing to Mormons. We call this approach “Build Bridges Not Barriers".

Enroll in our new video-based training program that teaches this approach.

Our closest relationships - our FRIENDS, RELATIVES, ACQUAINTANCES, and NEIGHBORS - are often our highest-risk relationships. These are the people we care about most, yet we often avoid starting a conversation about faith and salvation out of fear of rocking the boat.

If you've felt the tension of desperately wanting to share the truth in love with those you love most, our upcoming FRAN Training is for you. Visit to learn more.
