ADVERSITY

“Your success and happiness, both now and in the eternities, depend largely on your responses to the difficulties of life.” (True to the Faith, p. 9) Adversity is a part of Mormonism’s plan of salvation that allows a person to eternally progress and receive redemption. Through the trials of life, a Mormon receives opportunities to use their agency to make good choices. This includes remaining worthy and obedient in following all of the necessary obligations and ordinances of the LDS Church.
